A: The qualification criteria for each tier are based on the number of AirAsia qualifying flown sectors earned within a 12-month period. To qualify for the Red you need 0- 13 qualifying flown sectors, For Gold – 14-23 Qualifying Flown Sectors, for Platinum – 24-49 Qualifying Flown Sectors, and for Black, you need 50 and above Qualifying Flown Sectors

Q: Do the benefits of each tier expire?
A: The benefits of each tier are valid for 12 months from the date of qualification. Members must re-qualify for their tier by earning the required number of AirAsia BIG Points within a 12-month period to continue enjoying the benefits of their tier.

Q: AirAsia Points Vs Qualifying Flown Sectors

A: Earn AirAsia Points by purchasing with our Rewards Partners in the Financial Services, Travel, and Lifestyle categories, or by flying with AirAsia. Redeem your Points for Tickets and Non-Flight related Vouchers and Products.

Qualifying Flown Sectors (QFS) can only be earned when flying with AirAsia (apart from redeemed tickets with points). QFS count will reset to zero at the start of the new membership year and the total QFS earned dictates the membership status.

Refund Policy of Red Carpet: The Red Carpet service fee is not redeemable if you do not board the initial flight. In the event, the flight is canceled and you select the cash-back option.

You will be eligible for a complete reimbursement. In the case you could not board the original flight and opt for the succeeding flight, the Red Carpet fee paid shall be applied to the next flight.
